on April 4-6, 2022 The Department of Spanish and Latin American Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, together with Y.A. Maof Holdings & Management and the Pontifical Foundation Scholas Occurrentes, were pleased to launch the Educational Water Pact Forum in a virtual ceremony event.

The Forum’s mission is to carry out projects of integral solutions to situations of socio-environmental crisis, especially related to water (treatment and safe and sustainable access). Integrate technological solutions with the educational and labor promotion of local communities, in accordance with the “integral ecology” advocated by Pope Francis in his Encyclical Letter Laudato si’, through the Scholas Foundation’s educational Programs aimed at children and young people. Linking local and foreign Universities in professional training programs for adults, in view of their labor integration in the water industry. For this purpose, the Forum will articulate the contribution of private and public water companies with universities, schools and governmental authorities.
